Back to the real world!!!
I'm back!!! I have my life back and am so excited to jump right back into creating beautiful things. I did find time to make one great necklace this summer which you see here. It was a fun experiment in working with wire for the first time. I shaped and cut each individual link of wire. I stabbed my fingers so many times but the final outcome was well worth it. I've been building my inventory of beads and gems to make some great things. Exciting things to come!!!!!

The Countdown Has Begun
Well, to say that I have been neglectful of this blog this summer would be a huge understatement. But I am oh so excited to say that in 10 days, this time and life sucker that I call a job will be over. Then I will have my life back and have the time I need to get back to creating. I am stoked for whatever may come in the next few months. Expect to hear from me much more frequently!

Ask and You Shall Recieve
My dear friend Brittani asked that I post some recipes... I'm not really sure what she is hoping for being that I really don't make anything original. Here is one of my classics...
German Pancakes (just for you Brit)
1 cup flour (white or wheat, both work)
1 cup milk
6 eggs
dash of salt
4 Tbsp butter (cold)
Pre-heat oven to 400*
Measure flour into medium mixing bowl and slowly add milk, until you have a paste. Mix in remaining milk. Mix in salt. Beat in eggs.
In a 9" x 12" cake pan, slice cold butter and spread it out over the bottom of the pan. Put in oven just long enough to melt the butter without browning it. Remove from oven and pour egg batter into pan. Put back in oven for 20 min, or until they are puffed up and the peaks are nicely browned.
Serve with maple syrup. I also like to put jam on them when made with wheat flour.

Every Day Brings Something New
My mind is racing, really. It is like I have opened the door to a closet that has been filling up for ages and it all just keeps spilling out. There is so much I want to do and try but it really feels like there is never enough hours in the day to accomplish what I want to. I can't seem to keep up with myself. Last weekend I sat down and read the users manual to the sewing machine and tried everything I could and even made a cushion cover (really kind of ugly since I just used fabric that I had lying around, but learned a lot.) And then I picked up a book on knitting and taught myself to knit (result: a mis-shaped hat.) But I am getting better and hope to soon have my first home-made scarf, yippee! I'm also trying to focus back into jewelry, since that is my first planned venture. I really need to get some actual jewelry supplies and tools so I can learn to work with them as well as see what a finished project can really look like. Today's pics are of a few things I put together, but need to be redone in the right material. I think they are fun, yet still a work in progress to find something unique and truly beautiful... the journey continues.

Prefered title
So I have been venturing at making personal cards, kinda like business cards, but for the non-professional. Just something that you can give to people that gives your personal information, address, phone number, email, blog, etc. One thing that I have been including on some of these cards is a personal title, and it got me thinking, if I could have any title that represented who I am, what would it be. I realized it is highly difficult to just pick one, since there are so many facets to every person's life. So the question I would love to get a response to is... What would your title or titles be? Or I would also find it fun, for those of you who really know me, to tell me what titles you might give me...

Hey World Here I Am!!!
Well, I've finally decided that I want to spend my life using my creativity, but have found that I definitely do not have a one track mind. As the creative juices have been free to flow I have found that I have desires to learn to do so many different things. So that is what this blog is about, my ideas, projects, and attempts, as well as the occasional random post, but hey, this is the world as I see it. I would love any and all input anyone has to offer, so please, comment away! So Welcome to My Multifarious Mind, hold on it may be a bumpy ride.
